2026 IS A LICENSE RENEWAL YEAR!
20 hours of CE MUST be completed by November 30th!
The 20 hours are comprised on two required "CORE" classes (2025-2026) Parts A & B. You must complete both CORE A & B. That leaves you with 14 hours of continuing education elective courses.
Online Renewals
The online renewal system will be available for access beginning October 19, 2026. A renewal reminder card will be mailed to all licensees prior to the system becoming available. Renew online at: https://mypvl.dcca.hawaii.gov. You will notice that MyPVL has an updated interface called myHawaii. If this is your first time logging in to this updated system, you will be required to verify your email address. In addition, myHawaii has updated their password criteria; therefore, if your original (eHawaii) password credentials do not meet myHawaii’s requirements, you will need to update your password as well.
Log in to your MyPVL account well ahead of November 30 to ensure you are able to access your account. If you are unable to log into your account, you may contact Tyler Technologies at (808) 695-4620 for log-in assistance or click on “CONTACT SUPPORT” toward the bottom of your MyPVL log-in page.

Duplicate CE Hours
Pursuant to Hawaii Administrative Rules, §16-99-95, “Duplicate continuing education hours. Except as provided by the commission or by this subchapter, a licensee shall not take a continuing education course for which the licensee has already received a certificate within two consecutive biennia.” If you have repeated a continuing education course that you have taken in the previous biennium, you will not receive credit for the repeated continuing education course.
Principal Brokers & BIC's
PB's and BIC's must complete their license renewal and continuing education requirements before any associated licensee's renewal will be processed.
